Meet Your Next Charging Cable

And it's biodegradable.

Why Buy Biodegradable?

Charging cables make up a large part of the world's E-Waste. There are Millions of Tons of E-Waste discarded each year. Most all of these cables will NOT biodegrade, threatening the planets health.

To address this issue we have developed The Bio Cable which is designed to biodegrade within 90 days of being thrown into a landfill.

Our Cables Are Compatible With

Choosing To Save Our Planet

Millions of Tons of E-Waste Pollute our Planet Each Year. Our products are made to last AND are Biodegradable, meaning they will be converted to at least 90% micro-organisms within a 180 day period after being discarded into a landfill. We must begin to Think and Shop Sustainably.

LEARN MORE

Biodegradable

The term biodegradable refers to any material that can be broken down by microorganisms (like bacteria and fungi) and assimilated into the natural environment. Biodegradation is a naturally occurring process; when an object degrades, its original composition degrades into simple components like biomass, carbon dioxide, water. This process can occur with or without oxygen, but it takes less time when oxygen is present. If the packaging on a product reads biodegradable, it means that the product will eventually break down if it were to end up in a landfill. All of our Bio Cables biodegrade approximately 90 days after being discarded in a landfill environment.

Compostable

Organic material that can, through the process of decomposition, be turned into nutrient-rich soil or fertilizer. Composting itself is the process of returning your organic waste, leaves, grass clippings, banana peels, coffee grounds, and the like back to nature, so that it can eventually be reused as compost. When something is labeled at compostable, it means that the product “can” be turned into compost as long as it's under the correct conditions.

We are proud to introduce the Planet's First Biodegradable Charging Cables

Biodegradable Industry Standards

The plastic material used in our cables has been tested and follows the industry guidelines and standards for biodegradation as set by the ASTM.

We are proud to announce that the plastics in our Bio Cables hold certificates for the following standard biodegradation tests:

ASTM-D6691

ASTM-D5511

The Biodegradation Process

The requirement for a material to pass ASTM-D6691, ASTM-D5511 and be considered “biodegradable” is that the material must reach or exceed 90% conversion of the carbon within the material into carbon dioxide (CO2). In other words, 90% or more of the material would need to be turned into CO2 (converted by micro-organisms) during the time-frame of the test – 180 days.
